The sub-acequia is just one of the many acacias that allows for natural irrigation of the farms crops.

Protesters gathered on Wednesday evening after an eviction notice was posted on the fence in Tent City outside of downtown. The inhabitants were relocated to a vacant lot between Second and Third Streets with the help of The Barelas Community Coalition and Barelas Neighborhood Association.
